Servant of God (4)
A true servant of Christ doesn’t rely on his surrounding such that he is unable to do anything with or without it. Nay, it doesn’t matter to him whether he is not able, say, to go to school to study; he can study on his own. Not that he despises it, but he doesn’t stake his life on it. Not that his surrounding doesn’t matter, but if his surrounding can’t help him, he is not stopped; he moves on. He is able to do so because he has trained himself in discipline, in demanding of himself a spirit of hardwork and perseverance. He is not easily shaken. Seeing his surrounding and knowing his circumstances, he doesn’t lose heart.
